Jackie is a patient representative on the board of the British Hernia Society, she chairs the EHS Patient Advisory Committee and is a patient representative for the ASGBI. Along with some of the surgeons from the European Hernia Society Jackie runs a successful Facebook support group for people experiencing hernia, with almost 8500 members and as a patient herself Jackie fully understands the complexities of hernia on the patient and their families.
